The trailer of the latest installment in the long-running sci-fi has been officially released by Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions. Star Trek Beyond, showing in 2016 is just in time for the 50th anniversary celebration of the film franchise. The first Star Trek episode, “The Man Trap” was broadcasted on television in September 8, 1966. In the latest Star Trek film, fans will witness the return of John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, and Chris Pine in the Star Trek Beyond. Joe Taslim, Sofia Boutella and Edris Elba will be playing new roles for the film as well.
Star Trek Beyond is the third film in the rebooted franchise and produced by J.J. Abrams who is the director of the last two films. Veteran helmsman Justin Lin of the Fast and Furious franchise is the director of Star Trek Beyond under the script of Doug Jung and Simon Pegg. Jung is relatively a newbie in the Star Trek movie continuity while Pegg has already played the role of Scotty in the rebooted Star Trek films.

Teaser of the Star Trek Beyond is also made available online by Paramount Pictures. The Star Trek Beyond teaser offers no concrete story details. The focus of the trailer is more on flaunting action clips. An evil alien character is also showcased in the tease trailer of thee Star Trek Beyond. Since the Enterprise crew started its five-year mission in exploring new worlds, Star Trek Beyond is the first of the rebooted Star Trek movies that will go off in theaters. Scriptwriter Pegg said that Star Trek Beyond aspire to bring “a story about frontierism and adventure and optimism and fun” that die-hards have witnessed in the original 1960s Star Trek TV show.
