Jeremy Lin Sports a New Hairstyle
The 27-year-old Jeremy Lin, became famous because of his string of All-Star-type performances last 2012 with the New York Knicks. That stretch of games was known as “Linsanity”. Three seasons after, he has changed teams twice, spending two seasons with the Houston Rockets and a lone season with the LA Lakers. Now he’s with the Charlotte Hornets. And he is sporting a new hairstyle!
During the Charlotte Hornets Media Day last September 25, Lin showcased his brand new look. A white head band topped with a very tall, spiked up, gelled up hair. When asked about his new hairstyle, Lin said it made him a solid “6-6” (his real height is 6ft. 3in.). Lin also mentioned that his new hairstyle is still a work in progress and he’s been using quite a lot of gel just to maintain it.
One column in SB Nation compared Jeremy Lin with a Dragonball Z character because of the “towering spikes” of his new hairstyle, which is quite an accurate comparison to be honest.
Yes, that is how famous this guy is. Jeremy Lin sporting a new hairstyle deserves a news article! But don’t me wrong, Lin has proven that he belongs to the NBA. He’s got good basketball IQ and he can definitely score throw dimes. He still has a lot of things to work on to improve as a basketball player and he is willing to put in the work needed.
Spikes or not, Lin will be playing for the Charlotte Hornets in the coming 2015-2016 NBA Season. He is expected to be a backup point guard for Kemba Walker but Hornets coach Steve Clifford may be thinking of playing them together, even comparing them to the Spash Brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors.
